Is nitrous legal in Utah?
Nitrous oxide systems are legal for off-road and competition use. For street-legal vehicles, the system must be disconnected (bottle valve closed) when driving on public roads. We'll walk you through the legal requirements.
How often do nitrous bottles need recertification?
Every 5 years from the manufacture date or last recertification. It's a DOT requirement — no shop can legally fill an expired bottle. We offer bottle recertification service.
Can you install nitrous on any car?
We can install nitrous on most vehicles, but we'll evaluate your engine's health and fuel system first. Some engines need supporting mods (fuel pump, injectors) before adding nitrous safely.
